Over 10 years of cycling, I have drawn on a variety of resources to develop my own fitness and skills. In the last several years, I've reached out to fellow riders and have helped them grow, develop, and succeed. It is a wonderful experience to see athletes attain goals and have fun while doing it!

I would love to help you reach your goals, whether it be to complete your first century ride, compete at a national level event, or finish a local mountain bike race. I will provide a training prgram that works for your needs and with your lifestyle.

There is an athlete inside of you, let it out!

About Trina:

I am a mother to a 4 year-old boy, wife, Catagory 1 racer, and employee at SDSM Peak Performance. In addition, I have many years of experience as a technical project manager, so I know what it's like to have a lot to do, to have personal goals, and to need help putting workouts together and keeping track of the details. I race for the San Diego Bicycle Club's Elite Team and am the director of the Women's Development team. 2011 was an exciting season in SoCal with several podium finishes including state championships in both criterium and track racing! My interest in coaching was really piqued with my own success on the road and wondering what else I can accomplish while at the same time experiencing the rewards of being a mentor to new riders.

I am most proud of my family. My son loves to run, use my resistance bands, and ride his bike. Every now and then, he surprises me with a verbal gem, like, "It makes me happy when my mommy goes on a bike ride." My husband is a successful acupuncturist at San Diego Sports Medicine and an accomplished cyclist himself. We like to do as much as we can "peas in a pod".

Rule #6 / Free your mind and your legs will follow.
Your mind is your worst enemy. Do all your thinking before you start riding your bike. Once the pedals start to turn, wrap yourself in the sensations of the ride – the smell of the air, the sound of the tires, the feeling of flight as the bicycle rolls over the road.
